Adolescence is a painful process of changes, when the sexuality is born and when the child’s representation has to confront the reality. It occurs that the Evil doesn’t come from the outside – the Evil exists in every one of us. The question is only whether we agree to perceive it, get accustomed to it and destroy its strength or are we going to passively observe its rise in strenght.

Four is based on the autobiographical novel written by Robert Musil in1906 The Confusions of Young Törless. The director, Szymon Kaczmarek is the assistant of Krystian Lupa; both him and the set designer, Kaja Michałek, are the laureates of the Best Debut award at the 18th Malta International Theatre Festival. They began their adventure with staging Musil’s works with The Temptation of Quiet Veronica in the Nowy Theatre in Cracow.
