This performance of The Wedding is the first staging of Wyspiański’s drama in Latvia. Translation of the play was specially ordered by the Latvian Academy of Culture and accomplished by the poet Maris Salejs. The performance was nominated to Latvian award for the best performance of the season 2007/08.
